6 inch cutter motor is hydraulic driven low speed and high torque heavy duty design. The cutter motor is installed on the cutter front piece on the ladder end. A special cover is provided to protect the hydraulic motor from damage due to sand .rocks and debris. The cover can be removed from easy inspection and maintenance.

6 inch cutter suction dredger Hydraulic system is the most important parts of river sand dredger . The hydraulic system requirements pressure are very high and strict; it's the main artery of the entire sand mining dredge. swing winches, lifting winch and cutter head of the dredgers are driven by hydraulic motors. Rexroth hydraulic system is used on my 6 inch cutter suction dredger 

The impeller is fitted on the shaft by trapezoid thread directly machine on the shaft end. The shaft sealing is a water cooled sealing that can be replaced after wear life. The impeller is a special type of double curved vanes high efficiency and wear life optimized tested in laboratory and onboard of dredgers. The impeller is fixed on the shaft by trapezoid thread machined directly in the impeller hub.

 

The pump casing has a shape of a volute designed of a high efficiency and wear life optimized tested in laboratory and onboard of dredgers. The pump liners are made of high wear resistant materials and thick wall thickness to maximize the wear life. The casting covers are made from fabricated steel stiffened where necessary and machining to fit the case and the liners.
